More bathtime silliness

Daddy helped with my bath tonight and things got a little out of hand.
I always snuggle Mommy after my bath!

Baby #2 update

Mommy says, "I've been trying to pay close attention to see if I could feel the baby kick yet and today I definitely did! This is a lot earlier than I felt Lillian move, but it's probably just because I actually know what it feels like. It's very exciting :)"

Lunch with friends

This afternoon we got together with some friends for lunch.
While we were there I decided to try on Sam's MSU hat. Shh... don't tell my Poppy or Aunt Mindy!Thanks to Maria for the great pictures!

A quiet day

It has been a very busy week for our family, especially Daddy. Our goal today was to stay home and wear our jammies as much as possible. We were quite successful at achieving our goal and had a very good time!

Bath paints and bath babies

Mommy decided to give me a super bubbly bubble bath tonight.
She let me use the bath paints too!I have been talking about the baby lately but this was something new:

Mall date

This morning Mommy brought me to the Rivertown mall to meet up with some friends. We started the morning by playing together in the play area.We did some fun things to celebrate Liz's birthday.
Liz even let me borrow her sunglasses!
We walked around the mall and did some shopping...
And then we had a nice lunch at TGIFriday's.
Phew! After that I was ready for a nice nap!

100 words!

Mommy says, "Lillian has been saying so many new words lately it is difficult to keep track of them all! But we have been keeping a word wall for several months now and today it officially reached 100! She talks very often, especially when we are at home, and has been putting two and three words together for the last few weeks as well. She still babbles in her own language but overall we are understanding more and more of what she says! One of her new phrases is "see ya later!" - we don't know where she got that from but it is awfully cute!"

Hilarity and imaginative play

Mommy says, "Lillian made me smile and laugh outloud today! After lunch we were playing in her room and Lillian went around "feeding" all of the stuffed animals and dolls in sight with her little baby bottle. It was so cute!" "After that she gently placed all of the pigs and sheep on their sides and said "night-night" to each one. How sweet!"

Bathing Beauty

I love baths! But it's tough to say which I love more - bathtime or running-around-naked-after-getting-out-of-the-bathtub-time!

Mommy's tummy #1

For those of you out-of-town readers who don't often see Mommy, here is a 14-week picture of her tummy.

No more cast!

This morning Mommy brought me back to the orthopedic office to get my wrist checked out. I sat nice and still for x-rays once again.Mommy was thankful that I did so well waiting this time and that we didn't have to wait very long at all!
She was even more thankful that the doctor gave us a good report and that I was able to get my cast off! I didn't even cry! Mommy says I am very brave :)No more cast! Hooray!!

Playdate with Ella

This morning my friend Ella came over for a playdate. I wasn't always the best at sharing my toys and I gave her a few too many hugs, but other than that we had a great time!After Ella left I kept walking around the house calling out her name and looking for her. Mommy said it was very cute.

A fun weekend

Daddy spent most of yesterday and today at a conference in Grand Rapids, so we all spent the night at Grandma and Papa's house in Jenison. Yesterday Mommy and I mostly just relaxed at the house but today was an exciting day! Mommy and I went to Krispy Kreme with her friend Christi, saw a live production of Little Red Riding Hood, and I played with my cousins Seth and Micah. It was a fun time!

Ultrasound

This afternoon Mommy and Daddy brought me back to the doctor's office to see pictures of the baby. We got a really good report that so far everything looks great with my little baby brother or sister! The doctor confirmed that the baby is due to arrive sometime around July 31. We went out to eat to celebrate!
