Landon's baby shower
We spent last night and today in Flint helping with our sister-in-law Jen's baby shower. She and Dave (Dan's brother) are expecting their second baby boy later this month. Their son, Clay, is 9 and is pretty excited about helping with a little brother. The shower was a lot of fun and a great time to spend with family, including some we don't get to see all that often.

Snowpile and Underdog
I love living on a cul-de-sac, especially in the winter. Not only do we get to watch the snow plows come on a daily basis (at least when it snows), but we reap the benefits of the fabulous mound of snow they create in the middle. Last winter Lillian was too young to really appreciate it, but this year she is ready. Even Abbey likes to play in the snow. And occasionally she embraces her Underdog within.

Vet visit
I've been reminded lately that although I often consider myself to be an extrovert who likes to get out and do things, there is great value in just staying home. I've been trying to limit our outings to one per day and that change has had a positive effect on all three of us. So, today our big outing was bringing Abbey to the vet. I am pleased to report she is in good health (despite some less-than-stellar teeth) and that we all made it through the morning just fine.

Aquatic Center
Today I brought Lillian and Caleb to the Aquatic Center for the first time. We went with our friend and former neighbor, Shelly. Shelly's girls, Calera and Elisha, are very close in age to Lillian and Caleb. In fact, Caleb and Elisha's due dates were only one day apart. At any rate, the kids LOVED the pool and we will be sure to visit again.
Caleb did great in the water with me! He got to wear his cute "little" 12 month swimsuit that, thanks to his round little tummy, managed to stay up.
