Family night

We ate dinner at home tonight but decided to make a trip to McDonald's for a little playtime. One of the local McDonald's restaurants has family night on Tuesdays with discounted food and crafts. I've been pretty busy with school this week, so it was a nice little outing.

I love it when the kids play together. It's one of the things I've been looking forward to ever since I was pregnant with Caleb. It is so much fun to watch them interact together - especially when they get along!

St. Patrick's Day parade

Today we took the kids to the St. Patrick's Day parade downtown. It was incredibly cold but we still had a fun time. Lillian enjoyed picking up the candy and Caleb enjoyed waving his little Irish flag. Dan and I enjoyed hanging out with our kids and drinking our latte!After the parade we went home and Caleb was so fond of his hat that he didn't want us to take it off. He did, however, want to confiscate the shower pouf.

Our friends Liz and Andrew recently moved into a new home. We had the privilege of seeing it for the first time tonight and spending some time together. The kids enjoyed breaking things in. Thankfully very little actual breaking took place.
