Feeling better

Don't worry... it didn't take long for me to be back to my old self.

Owie

This afternoon I was standing by Mommy and Daddy at the kitchen table and out of nowhere I lost my footing and wiped out. I hurt my lip and my chin. Daddy said I was so cute with my little tear running down my face. Mommy gave me my boo boo bunny to help me feel better.

Happy Father's Day!

Mommy sang on the worship team with Daddy this morning, so all three of us were at church by 8:00. I had a lot of fun while they practiced before church!
This is what I looked like when Mommy picked me up from nursery. After spending nearly 3 1/2 hours at church I was beat!
After church Mommy, Daddy, and I ate a nice brunch and then napped. After that we went to Helder Park to play on the toys together.
My hair got a little crazy after playing on the slide.After the park we went to Captain Sundae for some ice cream.
We went back home next and Daddy opened his presents. Happy Father's Day Daddy! I love you!

13 months

Today I am 13 months old!

One last visit with the Texans

Tonight we went back to Grandma and Papa's house for one last dinner with Uncle Peter, Aunt Megan and the girls before they return to Texas. We look forward to seeing them again in August!

More cousins and more teeth!

Today Mommy, Daddy and I visited with our cousins some more. We spent time at the house during the day and went to the play land at McDonald's at night.
This evening Mommy discovered that I have two new molars! They are both on top, which means that I now have 6 teeth on top and two on the bottom.

More new hobbies

Lately I love to play with doors. I like to go into a room (especially Abbey's room) and close the door behind me. Mommy and Daddy are hoping this isn't a preview of things to come!

Cousins!

This week my Uncle Peter, Aunt Megan and their girls are visiting from Texas. All of my cousins (on Mommy's side of the family) and I got to hang out together at Grandma and Papa's house. It was so much fun!
Micah, Seth, Sophie, Elsie, Ian, Amy, Lillian, Abby, Jacob... ranging in age from 6 months to 7 years!
I put this on all by myself!

Playing at home

Today starts the first full week of Daddy's summer vacation. He isn't totally on vacation yet because he is taking a graduate class two days a week. He had lots of reading and some homework to do today, so Mommy and I tried to play quietly. But he made breaks to stop and play with me too!

Woah. You guessed it - Mommy let me feed myself again.
In my spare time I enjoy listening to music,
watching tv,
and lifting weights... in a dress.

An unusual day

This morning we went to church, just like most any Sunday. But, unlike every other Sunday today we had no power! The school that we meet at had a few emergency lights running (Mommy says they were running off something called a generator) but the rest of the power was out. That is because we had lots and lots of rain last night, which made lots and lots of flooding. Here are some pictures of me in my Sunday dress and of our town after the flooding.

CABLE Group

A little while ago our family joined a small group from our church. We get together every couple of weeks and today we helped our pastor and his family paint some windows. My new friend Karli helped keep me entertained while the adults worked and she even fed me lunch!

Summer vacation!!

Wednesday was Daddy's last day of school but yesterday he had to go in for part of the day to do teacher stuff. That makes today Daddy's first official day of summer vacation! We spent all day together as a family and had lots of fun!

Mommy let me feed myself for a little while. It got pretty messy, as usual. If you look closely you can see my new top teeth.

School's out for summer!

Tonight Mommy, Daddy and I had a special picnic dinner downtown to celebrate Daddy's last day of school!!
Oops. It's a good thing I didn't get my hands on any tulips!
