Easter photo shoot

We took advantage of the fact that we were all dressed up today to have a little photo shoot. Enjoy!And now, the best for last.

Happy Easter!

This morning the kids spent from 7:15 AM to nearly 1:00 PM at church so that I could sing in the Easter choir. Thankfully, they did very well. Caleb even took two naps in the noisy nursery! Afterward we had dinner and dessert with family at my parents' house.The kids also participated in the annual Easter egg hunt.

Easter Eve

Today we dyed Easter eggs. A good time was had by all and no dye was spilled on the carpet.

Beautiful, scandalous night

Today is Good Friday, which makes me feel like it should be a dark, gloomy day. Instead, however, it is a warm, sunny, beautiful day. We even spent a little time outside before heading to the Good Friday service at church.

Birthday party

I bring the kids to a mom's playgroup at church just about every week. Today, however, we had a special playgroup birthday party for Jordan and Crew, who were celebrating their first birthday. The kids (and moms) had a great time!Cake, ice cream, presents, and an egg hunt too! What more could a kid ask for?

Engedi Easter Event

Tonight we had a big Easter-themed event for our church and community. Lillian got to hang out with the big kids for a while and had a lot of fun playing on the giant bean bags in the youth room.

Now that Caleb is moving more, he gets himself into some funny positions sometimes.

First tooth - proof!

Caleb got his first tooth on Monday and today I was finally able to get a good picture of it!
He's such a cutie!

More movement

Now that Caleb is rolling, he has found new ways to entertain himself in his crib.

Movement

Caleb may not be crawling yet, but he still can cover some serious ground by rolling over and swiveling on his belly. He started on the play mat just a few moments before this picture was taken.And although his flying doesn't get him anywhere, it sure is fun to watch.

Toes

At Caleb's last check-up, Dr. Miller asked if he had found his toes yet. I think it's safe to say that he has.

Flying

This is Caleb's new favorite thing to do. We call it flying. I think that Caleb believes that laying on his tummy and putting his arms and legs out like this will somehow propel him into forward motion. I'm not so sure he's right, but it's awfully cute to watch.

Starbucks and school

This morning Starbucks was giving out free pastries with any beverage purchase. I had some errands to run with the kids anyway, so we decided to stop at Starbucks, pick up some coffee and a free pastry, and surprise Dan at school with them. He is in the middle of three extremely busy weeks so I thought he would appreciate a little surprise during his planning time to brighten his day.
