Today we took a little trip to the mall in town. It's been a while since I've brought the kids there and it was a lot of fun watching them play.

Today we took a trip to the east side of the state to celebrate our nephew Landon's first birthday. The kids had a lot of fun playing together and we enjoyed the time with everyone. Happy Birthday, Landon!I love Caleb's expression in this shot!

Coldstone date

We still aren't sure why, but we received Dan's and the kids' birthday club emails for free ice cream from Coldstone Creamery early this year. As in, 5-7 months early. So, we had a little family date this evening at Coldstone!Caleb decided Lillian's berry sorbet was a little shocking.

is one of my favorite Sandra Boynton books. Lillian got it for Christmas and quickly became a big fan. She has been under the weather lately but we got a cute video of her "reading" the book to me.

Dan built a pretty cool fort in the living room for all of us to enjoy.
We even lit a fire, set up the lap top, and watched Veggie Tales!

Ice sculptures

Today we took a little walk downtown to check out the ice sculpting competition. We started the trip, of course, by stopping in at JP's. Then we roamed 8th street for a bit looking at the works in progress and the completed entries. It was quite impressive!
