Later that evening we went out for ice cream before Caleb's graduation ceremony. My parents joined us, which made the occasion even more special. With my mom's help we managed to keep everyone clean while they ate!
Caleb's graduation ceremony was very sweet and brief, which is exactly what I was hoping for, since it started after Liam's bedtime.
The kids sang "Lord I Lift Your Name on High," "I Wanna Be Just Like You" and "10,000 Reasons" very enthusiastically!Caleb smiled big as he walked across the stage!
During the final prayer, Mrs. D started to get choked up and I was surprised when Caleb did too. As graduation ended Caleb began crying and continued until we got home! He was just so sad to say goodbye to his wonderful teacher and classmates. I managed to get a few smiled out of him when we got home so we could get his "last day" picture on the front porch.
And, for comparison, here he was on the first day of preschool back in September.
Congratulations, Caleb James! We are proud of your hard work and all that you have learned this year, and thankful that you had such a wonderful experience!
