Chapel

Dan helped lead worship with Sara (Luneack) Ewan this morning at Hope College. I took the kids to watch. I am such an optimist that it wasn't until we were sitting in the back of the chapel, hearing the near silence as Sara spoke, that I started to think maybe this wasn't such a great idea. I had forgotten how quiet a chapel of 1,000 people can be, and how the sound of either of my children crying or talking would cut through that silence quite quickly. Thankfully, God was very gracious and Lillian and Caleb both did great. Afterward Lillian was eager to get on stage with her daddy.After chapel we headed downtown for lunch at 8th Street Grille. What a fun morning!
