Playing with the laser pointer.
Stopping to visit a friend while grocery shopping.
CABLE group silliness. I make a point to keep everyone entertained.
And in case you didn't know, I'm not real shy.

We got to hear the heartbeat today and we were all very excited! The doctor says the baby seems healthy and that he or she will probably arrive in late July or early August. Hooray!
We are all very, very happy!
Later on we came out to attend the carnival and had a ton of fun!!

I loved dancing to the music in the cake walk!
I discovered what the potty is a while ago and sometimes I ask to go there. I haven't been successful making any poopies on the potty, but Mommy and Daddy let me try anyway!
Oh! And Mommy discovered that my last eye tooth finally came through today. Hooray! She says this means almost all of my teeth are in now and that makes everyone very excited!
"We had to wait for quite a while in the waiting room but Lillian decided it was her job to entertain the elderly audience there. Later she found ways to keep busy as we waited in the exam room."
"At about 11:30 we met with Dr. Dean. He confirmed that Lillian has a fractured radius but reassured us that at her age injuries tend to heal quickly. He indicated that she would need to wear a cast for about 3 weeks. He went on to explain that children Lillian's age have a tendency to wriggle out of their casts and, therefore, she would have to have a full cast up past her elbow. Thankfully we were able to get a waterproof cast, which means she can take normal baths for the next 3 weeks. Lillian was again a very good girl and sat quite still while the cast technician wrapped her arm in a very stylish hot pink cast. "
"Although Lillian has only had the cast for a few hours she has already discovered some of its advantages and disadvantages. Disadvantage #1: It is decidedly difficult to carry both baby dolls when one of your arms is in a cast. Disadvantage #2: It is also a bit more messy to eat when you only have one hand to work it. Advantage #1: Banging your cast on the kitchen table makes a really neat sound. We're hoping it takes a while before she discovers Advantage #2: A cast is a built-in weapon."
"Thanks for reading our story on our little Lillian. Her daddy has never broken a bone, so she has already surpassed him in that regard. We'll continue to keep you updated and welcome your prayers for her full recovery. We are very grateful for the spunk and good attitude she has had so far. I'm sure we'll have more stories to share!"
"After spending about 30 minutes in the radiology waiting room Dr. Miller called and said Lillian would have an appointment scheduled for the next day with an orthopedist. We were told we could go home for the night but should wrap her wrist in the meantime."
"Lillian was not a fan of her bandage at first but she got used to it pretty quickly. I should find out tomorrow morning what time we meet with the orthopedist. Please pray that all goes well."
Sometimes I like to make a mess with things from the hall closet.
And sometimes I like to give gifts to Abbey.
I'm friendly like that.
Although Mommy doesn't like it much when I play with her wallet.
In other news, today Mommy called my doctor because I have been a little sensitive with my left wrist ever since I fell out of a chair last week. I have an appointment at 4:00 tomorrow. Hopefully we will find out that everything is a-okay!
And I helped Daddy with his glasses.
And I tried on one of my spring dresses. I did the accessorizing all by myself!
And what better way to celebrate the end of Christmas break than with some twirling?!
Then it was back to Grandma and Papa's house one more time to see some of my aunts, uncles, and cousins that I don't get to see very often. We had a yummy breakfast together and I discovered I LOVE putting blueberry sauce on my waffles!
We watched Aunt Megan's cousin march in the Tournament of Roses parade.
I played with my great uncle Terry's cane.
And watched my great aunt Penny and my second cousin Amy play with Pleo.
And opened more presents that my great aunt Cindi and great uncle Terry gave us!
Other than a tumble out of the rocking chair it was a very good start to 2009!
